im fried

like chicken from kfc, fried extra crispy after my chicken has been soaking in soapy water. ewwwwwwww.

today has been chaotic.

this morning was very peaceful and restful. we didnt do anything in economics except talk about the new attendance policy possibly going into effect next fall. but the minute i left that class ive run my ass off til now. okay, so im sort of a slacker and brought some of this on myself because i didnt do as much preparation last night for my young artists class as i could have. but i still did a bunch, all things considered. i wrote two plays for my kids to act out. 7 lines per 5 kids a piece. called The Diner (they named it). and for the first time EVER the theatre project worked. the one factor that made the difference really was having a ready-made script (that they had some input on)for them to study as a group. unfortunately i failed to be as involved as i needed to be because i was sooooo busy putting all the last minute touches on stuff and filling bags and just running around like a ninny. make matters that much more complicated, i ran in on another class today (i didnt know it was going on) so i couldnt get to my supply closet because they were meeting in there. so the kids didnt get snacks today and i couldnt get to much needed materials such as tape and cups (for paint) and napkins. cant exactly hop in my car and ride across town to pick up these items and ive already figured out it makes the Yow people nervous when i go snooping around in other rooms for supplies. *L* anyways. the kids did great. awesome even. and one of the girls brought cookies for props (as hamburgers) so the kids did get to have snacks after all. despite all that potential stress, the back-breaker for me today was crystal going to the hospital. she had her baby this morning--Christopher Dean, 9lbs 5oz. but crystal had a seizure before she got to the hospital. very scary. she's in ICU right now. they are keeping a 24 hr watch on her to make sure she's okay. baby is great though. has her nose. her family is stressed to the hilt though. and understandably. so please pray for them. i almost called vonda and told her i couldnt make work today because of the stress, however when i found out about the ICU bit, i was already almost late for my class. and then we had an accounting test tonight which im pretty sure i didnt do so well on. i made an 80 something on the computer quiz but i really had no clue about the written part a. did the income statement though. so maybe i didnt do too poorly. ive made three As in a row on a quiz. crossing my fingers i wont do too poorly from now on. gotta go for now.
